Speaking to his congregation and followers via social media, Primate Ayodele declared that former President Goodluck Jonathan will not return to power, despite speculation in some quarters about his possible political comeback; According to the cleric, all plans and efforts to bring Jonathan back into office will not succeed.

“Jonathan will not rule,” Ayodele declared, emphasizing that divine revelation had shown that the former president’s political chapter as Nigeria’s leader is closed.

Instead, the popular prophet revealed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in both the 2019 and 2023 elections, will emerge as the main challenger to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming polls.

Ayodele noted that Atiku is quietly preparing for another political contest and will surprise many who have written him off; He stated that the former vice president remains a formidable force whose influence and resilience should not be underestimated.

The cleric also advised President Tinubu and the ruling party to be cautious, warning that the road to 2027 will be filled with political alignments, betrayals, and hidden strategies; He cautioned that underestimating Atiku’s nationwide support could pose a serious challenge for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Primate Ayodele concluded by calling on Nigerians to pray for peace and unity, stressing that the 2027 elections will be one of the most critical in the nation’s history and could determine the future stability of Nigeria’s democracy.
