In other news, Jojo Siwa is finally clarifying her s£xuality.
The singer and former teen sensation disclosed that she felt compelled to label herself as a lesbian, despite the fact that this designation did not entirely represent her true self.
In a frank new interview, Siwa discusses how the expectations imposed on her by both herself and others resulted in confusion, frustration, and ultimately, a sense of clarity.
Currently, she confidently identifies as queer and asserts that she has never felt more authentic.
Siwa’s s£xuality has been a significant subject of conversation following her participation in “Celebrity Big Brother.”
Viewers observed the 22-year-old develop a romantic connection with fellow contestant Chris Hughes, even though she had previously identified as a lesbian.
In the midst of the turmoil surrounding her s£xuality, Siwa has disclosed that she felt pressured to define herself as a lesbian.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the Nickelodeon star said, “When I came out at 17, I said: ‘I’m pansexual, because I don’t care about gender.’ But then I kind of boxed myself in and I said: ‘I’m a lesbian.’ And I think I did that because of pressure.”
Siwa elaborated that, in a peculiar and unforeseen manner, the pressure seemed to originate from within the LGBTQ community itself.
“From people I know, from partners I’ve had. You just get put in this world where you feel like, because you now have said, ‘Oh, I’m a lesbian,’ you have to be a lesbian. And the truth is, s£xuality is fluid,” she added.
Siwa first came out publicly as lesbian in 2021, sparking headlines and admiration.
