The Adamawa State Government is set to interview 8,196 shortlisted candidates to fill 4,000 civil service vacancies.
The 8,196 were shortlisted from 52,003 who sat a computer-based test earlier in the month, after over 40,000 were dropped from the more than 93,000 who initially applied when the state government called for applications in April.
The shortlisted candidates are now to undergo the final screening interview, beginning with degree holders on Thursday, August 28.
All candidates are expected to gather in Yola for the interviews from the 21 local government areas of the state.
Of those selected for the interview, the highest number, 589, are from Hong LGA, followed by 583 from Michika and 579 from Yola North.
The lowest number, 187, comes from Toungo.
