American singer and actress, Selena Gomez has said she remains hopeful about becoming a mother one day, despite previously revealing that her womb can’t carry children due to health issues.
She revealed that there are people willing to do surrogacy for her as well as others, offering her the opportunity of adoption.
“I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me,” she said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
Gomez, however, admitted that having a child via surrogacy or adoption would “look a little different” but added that she doesn’t care, stressing that “It’ll be my baby.”
Last year, the 33-year-old star, who suffers from the autoimmune disease lupus, explained that carrying a child in her womb would endanger her life.
Gomez and her boyfriend, producer Benny Blanco, got engaged in December 2024.
Blanco has spoken about raising kids with Gomez someday.
