According to a report by Metro Sport, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim believes new goalkeeper Senne Lammens has the potential to develop into one of the best in the world within the next few years.
Lammens completed an £18 million move from Royal Antwerp to Manchester United on transfer deadline day, as the club sought to address ongoing concerns in the goalkeeping department.

The Belgian’s arrival was viewed as a crucial step toward stabilizing the team’s defense, which had struggled in the early part of the season.
After watching from the bench for three matches, the 23-year-old made his debut against Sunderland on Sunday, producing a composed performance that helped United record their first clean sheet of the campaign.

Lammens made several important saves, including a key stop to deny Granit Xhaka in the first half and another late intervention against Chemsdine Talbi.
Though not heavily tested throughout the match, the young goalkeeper impressed with his composure, aerial command, and confidence, offering the club and its supporters renewed optimism.
His assured display is expected to cement his position as United’s first-choice goalkeeper going forward, replacing Altay Bayindir, who featured in the first six league games.
According to reports, Amorim has been managing Lammens’ transition into the team with great care.
The Portuguese head coach views Lammens as United’s answer to Thibaut Courtois, confident the younger Belgian will establish himself as the best in the world by 2028.
Courtois is said to be mentoring Lammens, guiding him as he adapts to the challenges of English football and the pressures of representing a major club at such a young age.
Before finalizing the signing of Lammens, United had considered a move for Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martínez and even reached an agreement on personal terms.
However, club officials are now convinced they made the right decision, having been highly impressed with Lammens’ attitude and performances in training and his debut appearance.
