According to the Daily Mail, the Los Blancos are “keeping tabs” on the midfielder’s situation at Man United.
Real Madrid’s LaLiga rivals, Atletico Madrid, are also said to be keen on the the England international too.
Mainoo could leave Man United before the summer transfer window closes next week in order to get more regular game-time elsewhere.
The 20-year-old was an unused substitute in Man United’s first two Premier League matches against Arsenal and Fulham.
Meanwhile, in another development, Real Madrid winger, Rodrygo has told his agent to help him find a new club this summer.
According to The Athletic, the Brazilian international reportedly informed agents Pini Zahavi and Kia Joorabchian to explore options in the summer transfer window market.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool all summer.
He was recently left out of Brazil’s national team squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Chile due to lack of match full fitness.
Rodrygo is yet to play a full 90 minutes game for Real Madrid this season under Xabi Alonso.
