CAFCC: Kwara United coach Sanni disappointed with defeat to Asante Kotoko

Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Sanni has expressed disappointment with his team’s inability to convert their chances in their CAF Confederation Cup defeat to Asante Kotoko.

The Harmony Boys suffered a 5-3 aggregate loss to Asante Kotoko in the first round of the competition.

Kwara United were eliminated from the tournament following the defeat.

“I’m highly disappointed that we scored three goals in Ghana and we couldn’t even convert one here. It’s really sad,” Sanni reacted.

Kwara United will now shift focus to the Nigeria Premier Football League .

They are set to face Plateau United in a rescheduled matchday five fixture in Ilorin on Thursday.
