Mothers in Jato-Aka, Turan District of Kwande Local Government Area, Benue State, took to the streets on Wednesday to protest the alleged killing of children by soldiers.
Clad in black attire, the women marched through the community, chanting sorrowful songs and demanding justice for the victims.
They accused the military of unleashing violence on defenseless residents, including minors, and warned that the community could not continue to endure such attacks.
The grieving mothers called on both the Benue State Government and the Federal Government to act swiftly to stop further bloodshed and restore peace in the troubled area.
