Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has signed the revised 2025 Appropriation Bill of N43 billion into law, shortly after its passage by the State House of Assembly.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Usman Zuru, presented the bill to the governor at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday, in the company of other members of the legislature.

The lawmakers also submitted the adopted Medium Term Expenditure Framework, MTEF, and Fiscal Strategy Paper, FSP, for 2026–2028 to the governor for implementation. In addition, they forwarded a resolution requesting the renaming of Government Day Secondary School, Tondi Tsamiya, to Sarki Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi Day School in honour of the Emir of Yauri.
