Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu has reflected on his side’s victory over Saudi Arabia, DAILY POST reports.
The West Africans defeated Saudi Arabia 3-2 in a thrilling contest at the Estadio Fiscal de Talca on Friday morning.
Nasiru Salihu, Amos Ochoche and captain Daniel Bameyi were on target for Nigeria in the game.
Saudi Arabia scored through Amar Al Yuhaybi and Halal Hajj.
The Flying Eagles bounced back from their defeat to Norway in the first game.
Zubairu said his players showed great determination to earn the win.
“The players made up their minds that they had to go all out for the three points here, and that is what motivated them. Now it’s simple: we have to go all out for the three points against Colombia. It’s as simple as that,” he told FIFA.com.
