Former Liverpool midfielder, Jamie Redknapp, has revealed that his old club has problems.
Redknapp spoke while reacting to Liverpool’s Premier League 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
According to him, the Reds are still missing right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who left Anfield to join Real Madrid in the summer.
Recall that Chelsea defeated Liverpool, thanks to goals from Moises Caicedo and Estevao.
Cody Gakpo, however, did score for Arne Slot’s side at Stamford Bridge.
“They have got problems at full-back. They are missing Trent [Alexander-Arnold],” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“They have not played the same right-back since the Burnley game. Bradley had a tough 45 minutes.”
The result against Chelsea means Liverpool are now in second position on the Premier League table behind leaders Arsenal.
