NPFL: Kwara United part ways with technical adviser, Tunde Sanni

Tunde Sanni has been asked to step aside as the technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Kwara United.

Sanni’s disengagement was announced after the Harmony Boys 1-0 defeat to Abia Warriors in a matchday seven fixture in Ilorin on Sunday.

Assistant coach Ashifat Sulaiman has been mandated to take charge of the team with immediate effect.

Emeka Obioma scored the winning goal for Abia Warriors from the penalty spot four minutes after the break.

DAILY POST reports Sanni has been under intense pressure following Kwara United’s early elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup.

Kwara United suffered a 5-3 aggregate defeat to Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko in the first round of the competition.
