Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has issued a heartfelt public apology to several of her former friends and industry colleagues, including Tonto Dikeh, Angela Okorie, and Emeka Rollas, president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
In an emotional post shared on her Instagram page, Ogala admitted to causing hurt through her past words and actions. She expressed deep remorse, acknowledging that the rift with those she once considered close was largely influenced by her personal struggles.
According to the actress, she was grappling with grief, health issues, and a feeling of abandonment during her lowest moments factors that, she revealed, clouded her judgment and impacted her behavior. Reaching out with a tone of reflection and vulnerability, Ogala expressed a desire to mend broken relationships and move forward in peace.
Doris wrote:
“I want to sincerely apologise to my friends that my write-ups or videos indirectly or directly affected — EMEKA ROLLAS, Angela Okorie, Tonto amazing people to me. They hurt me in one way, but I believe I overreacted in my actions. I was really traumatised, had a lot going on with me — the passing of my brother, my surgery, etc. Maybe I expected too much from them. From my heart of hearts, I am truly sorry.”
