Sudan coach Kwesi Appiah has urged Super Eagles gaffer Eric Chelle to do some polishing in his attacking line after his side defeated the home-based Nigeria national team 4-0 at the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN, on Tuesday.
Appiah watched as Sudan thrashed the Super Eagles B team to send Nigeria out from the competition.
Abdel Raouf’s brace, goal from Walieldin Khedr and an own goal by Leonard Ngenge gave Sudan the win against Nigeria.
The outcome of the encounter means Sudan now top Group D with four points from two games, while Nigeria have no point.
Speaking to the media after the game, Appiah said: “The coach only needs to do some polishing with the attack.
“The first game against Senegal was not that bad. In the second game, they had stints of possession, but our approach helped us.”
Sudan’s next CHAN game is against Senegal, who defeated Nigeria 1-0.
