
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has reclaimed the Ganye constituency seat in the Adamawa State House of Assembly.

The APC candidate in the Ganye state constituency bye-election of Saturday, August 16, 2025, Misa Musa Jauro, received a total of 16,923 to defeat his counterpart of the Peoples Democratic Party, Buba Muhammad Joda, who received 16,794 votes.
The final results confirmed pre-election projections that the APC and the PDP would have a close fight.
The results were announced and the winner declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The Returning Officer of the bye-election, Professor Tukur Ahmed announced the results just before 5am on Sunday to round off the election process.
