Inter Miami captain, Lionel Messi, has become the fastest player to score 875 goals in his career.
Messi achieved this feat by finding the back of the net in their 3-1 win over LA Galaxy on Saturday night.
The 38-year-old who was making a return from injury, came off the bench to play 45 minutes in the match.
The Argentine legend then scored with a typical brilliant solo effort.
It took Messi 1,116 matches to get to the 875 mark – the fewest number of games ever.
Messi grabbed his first career goal while playing for Barcelona against Albacete on May 1, 2005.
He now sits 63 goals behind eternal rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who leads the all-time scoring list with 938.
Messi has also recorded 389 assists in the course of his career.
