‘Collosal loss to us all’ – APC mourns passing of National Chairman’s mother

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the death of its National Chairman, Mama Lydia Yilwatda, as a collosal loss to the APC family.

This was contained in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Monday.

Morka said Mama Lydia Yilwatda was a humble, virtuous and compassionate woman, renowned and loved for her generosity and selfless service to her family, church and community.

While praying for her soul to rest in peace, Morka commiserated with the immediate family, church, community and the government of Plateau state.

“We received with shock and sadness the news of the passing of Mama Lydia Yilwatda, mother of our National Chairman, Prof, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.

“She was a devout christian and leader whose contributions to the growth of her Church of Christ in Nations
(COCIN) was immeasurable.

“Mama’s death is a colossal loss not only to her family, community but the entire APC family,” the statement said.
