According to the directive, once a student has advanced to SS2, they must remain in the same school until they complete their Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE). This means no mid-final year transfers will be allowed, regardless of the circumstances.
The policy is aimed at tackling the growing menace of exam malpractice. Authorities say some students switch schools during their final year to institutions with a reputation for “helping candidates” cheat their way through external exams.
