Jose Mourinho and his Fenerbahce side have qualified for the Champions League qualifying playoffs, after overturning a two-goal deficit against Robin van Persie-coached Feyenoord on Tuesday.
The Turkish giants were beaten 2-1 in the Netherlands last week.
In the second leg of the third qualifying round clash, they conceded again after Tsuyoshi Watanabe opened the scoring in the 41st minute.
But Mourinho’s men scored two goals before halftime on the way to a 5-2 win Tuesday.
The result saw them progress with a 6-4 on aggregate score.
Fenerbahce will now welcome Benfica, who beat Nice in their qualifier, in the first leg of the playoff round next week with a place in the lucrative 36-team league phase at stake.
