Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger that stirred controversy with her unruly behaviour has dismissed a report linking her to a N500 billion lawsuit against the Federal Government, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Ibom Air, and others.
Emmanson made this clarification in a statement on her Instagram story on Saturday.
This comes amid a report that Emmanson filed a suit through a lawyer, Ayodele Ademiluyi, in a Lagos court demanding N500 billion.
However, Emmanson has distanced herself from the lawyer, noting that she is yet to file any suit against the federal government or Ibom Air.
She, however, said when she files a suit over her Ibom Air ordeal, it will be made public by her.
“My attention has been drawn to a fake report claiming that I have filed a N500 billion lawsuit against the Federal Government, NCAA, and others.
“This information is false and misleading. I have not taken any such legal action yet.
“When I eventually do anything of such nature (which is imminent), I will personally update the public myself via my official page.
“For the avoidance of doubt, my lawyer is Adam Atakpa of Kippraise Attorneys.
“I urge everyone to disregard this fake news and avoid being misled.”
Recall that Emmanson was jailed before she was freed after the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo’s, intervention.
