How It Happened
Following recent clashes between the Aye and Vikings confraternities, Eiye members reportedly accompanied their leader, known as Flying Ibaka (a final-year student preparing to sign out), to campus for protection.
Tensions flared when Papa, a lower-ranking Eiye member (a Flying Eagle), allegedly disrespected Ibaka.
Ibaka ordered his loyalists to “drill” (discipline) Papa. Later that day, Papa returned home but reportedly insulted Ibaka again over the phone.
Ibaka then sent a group of Eiye members — including Dangaga, the number two man in the group — to confront Papa a second time.
During the confrontation, Papa fought back in self-defense, stabbing Dangaga with a knife.
