Dagara Daje of APC sworn in as Niger Assembly member

The Niger State House of Assembly has officially sworn in Hon. Dagara Daje as the member-elect for Munya Constituency under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The swearing-in ceremony took place today, August 26, 2025, during a plenary session of the House, presided over by the Speaker, Abdulmalik Mohammed Sarkin-Daji.

Sarkin-Daji, who administered the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Membership to Hon. Daje congratulated and welcomed him into the 10th Assembly of Niger State.

He assured Daje of the House’s support to enable him to succeed and contribute meaningfully to legislative activities.

Daje of APC emerged winner in the by-election held on August 16, 2025, in Munya Local Government Area of the state.

The by-election was conducted to fill the vacant seat created by the death of Hon. Joseph Haruna Duza of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Niger State House of Assembly.
