EPL: Arsenal announces transfer of Victor Ozhianvuna

Arsenal has officially announced a deal to sign Victor Ozhianvuna from Shamrock Rovers.

The 16-year-old forward will join up with the Gunners when he turns 18 in January 2027.

Ozhianvuna has already made 16 appearances for Rovers’ first team in all competitions.

In February, he became the second-youngest player to ever feature in the UEFA Conference League, coming on as a substitute in Shamrock Rovers’ second-leg intermediate stage fixture against Molde FK.

His first goal came just a few months later in an FAI Cup second round victory against Wexford FC.

Ozhianvuna is a Republic of Ireland youth international and has made nine appearances between under-15 and under-18 level for his country.

Arsenal added that “the transfer is subject to the competition of regulatory processes”.
