Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim, has said Benjamin Sesko is ready for their Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday.
Sesko could have been lining up for the Gunners this weekend, but a move fell through.
He eventually signed for United for a transfer fee around £73 million.
The 22-year-old will form a new attacking trident along with fellow summer arrivals Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Although Sesko is not up to speed, Amorim has hinted he could start the Slovenian against Arsenal.
“Physically he is ready. That is a big component in our league. He is ready to play. We will see if he is going to start.
“He has great potential in everything he does. He can play different types of football. He’s going to feel that the Premier League is really aggressive,” Amorim said.
