EPL: They were threat – Burley praises two Man Utd players after defeat to Arsenal

Former Chelsea star, Craig Burley has hailed two Manchester United players Matheus Cunha and Beyan Mbeumo following their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

According to Burley, both Cunha and Mbeumo were threat against the Gunners during the encounter.

Recall that a first-half goal from Riccardo Calafiori gave Arsenal the win against the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

“What they [Man United] have shown [against Arsenal], is that they are definitely better with that front line,” Burley told ESPN FC.

“Cunha and Mbeumo were a threat and there was a couple of times in the first half, when they did switch it out wide to where Calafiori left space behind after moving into midfield.

“Calafiori left space behind after moving into midfield, there was nobody in the box. There was no striker to whip it into.”

Recall that Man United signed both Cunha and Mbeumo from Wolves and Brentford, respectively this summer transfer window.
