Kelechi Iheanacho has said scoring on his European debut for Celtic was a moment to treasure, DAILY POST reports.
Iheanacho was on target in Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Partizan Belgrade on Thursday night.
The substitute gave the Hoops the lead on 55 minutes with a clever finish before Marko Arnatovic restored parity for the hosts 10 minutes later.
It was the forward’s second goal in three appearances for the Scottish Premiership champions.
“It felt really great, playing my first European competition with Celtic. I’m happy to get a goal for the team,” Iheanacho told the club’s official website.
“It was a great atmosphere, to be fair. We got a point here and hopefully we’ll get more points in the future.”
The 28-year-old joined the Hoops on a free transfer earlier this month.
