Everyone would watch’ – Evra predicts Ronaldo vs Messi World Cup final

Former Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra, has predicted a World Cup final between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

It means the World Cup final game would be played between Portugal and Argentina.

Messi and Ronaldo are still respected as best players in the game despite being in the twilight of their careers.

They now play in the Saudi Pro League and the American Major League soccer, Al Nassr and Inter Miami and Al-Nassr, respectively.

Messi helped Argentina to win the 2022 World Cup, while Ronaldo is yet to take Portugal to a World Cup final.

From all indications, Messi and Ronaldo will be at the next World Cup which kicks off next summer.

Many people see the next edition as their last appearance in football’s biggest competition.

Evra told Stake.com that a World Cup final between Messi and Ronaldo would be their ultimate finale.

“That would be like the last Marvel movie. Everyone would stop to watch,” he said.

“Of course! Two legends, one last dance, everyone would watch.”

Messi and Ronaldo are widely regarded as two of the greatest players to have played the sport.
