Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago has congratulationed Prof Muhammad Bashar Nuhu and Haliru Zakari Jikantoro on their inauguration as Executive Director and Board Member of the North Central Development Commission, NCDC, respectively.
In a statement released on August 29, 2025, by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Bago described their appointments as a welcome development. 
He expressed delight that Niger State is represented by two competent and hardworking individuals.
The Governor urged Prof Nuhu and Jikantoro to work together to make Niger State proud through effective representation and assured them of his administration’s support and collaboration to ensure the state receives its due benefits from the NCDC.
Bago further reiterated his commitment to supporting them in their new roles, while wishing them success as they embark on their responsibilities.
