Gunmen abduct Kano resident from home

Gunmen have kidnapped a man from Zawachiki Quarters in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.

The victim, identified as Aminu Abdullahi, was taken away around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday when the attackers invaded the community.

Zagazola Makama reports that the police said they got the report around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.

The Divisional Police Officer of Kumbotso later led a patrol team to the area.

According to sources, the police have also taken a statement from the victim’s son, who witnessed the abduction, to help in their investigation.
