Heavy security in Ibadan as Ladoja’s coronation holds today

Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, is currently witnessing the presence of all manners of security agents.

The security personnel were deployed ahead of the coronation of the former governor of Oyo State, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.

Ladoja was recently nominated as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

DAILY POST reports that the coronation of the former governor has been fixed to hold today.

Our correspondent, who has been monitoring the procession, reports that security agents have taken over major areas in Ibadan.

Our correspondent reports that soldiers, police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and other security personnel have been stationed around the Mapo Hall, venue of the coronation.

Many people, especially journalists, are having a tough time gaining entrance to the venue.

As at the time of filing this report, many journalists are still finding their way to gain entrance to the venue.
