Famous American rapper, Lil Wayne, has congratulated pop star, Taylor Swift and football player, Travis Kelce on their engagement.
The Young Money boss paused his concert in Kansas City to congratulate the songstress and the Kansas City Chiefs star.
“Travis and my girl, you already know Taylor. Traylor! That’s what we call them. Congratulations,” Wayne said.
DAILY POST reported that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement via Instagram on Tuesday, 26 August, 2025.
However, Travis’ father Ed Kelce claimed that the engagement took place about two weeks ago but he soon said it would only be announced whenever Taylor decides to, according to ABC News.
Several celebrities, including Sabrina Carpenter, Charlie Puth, Iga Swiatek, Caitlin Clark, and President Donald Trump, have congratulated the couple.
The engagement announcement has entered the Top 20 most liked posts in Instagram history with over 30 million likes.
Also, ‘So High School’ by Taylor Swift, which was used as the background song of the post, saw nearly 400% increase in streams on US Spotify.
