Nigerian leaders are pagans, most on hard drugs – Pastor Giwa reveals why ‘God is silent’

The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has said God does not listen to the prayers of Nigerians because the country’s leaders are pagans.

Addressing his members in Akure, Ondo State, the clergyman also accused some Nigerian leaders of using hard drugs, adding that most of them are drunks.

He said: “Over the years, those who run the affairs of Nigeria are pagans. This has made God not listen to us. Unless we truly turn to God for total intervention.

“If not, we will remain where we are or things continue to deteriorate.

“Our political leaders are on hard drugs while some get drunk. They hardly know who God is.

“I am sorry, I can’t pray for Nigeria, I can only pray to God to have mercy on His children.

“I see all of them as birds of a feather. They drink, eat, and dance together. They are more united than individuals they lead.”
