
Bayelsa United midfielder, Edwin Ayiba has called for fans support ahead of the first home game of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
The Prosperity Boys will trade tackles with newly promoted side Barau FC at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa this weekend.
Ayiba pointed that the support of the fans will be crucial in the game.
“This Sunday the stands can’t stay silent, we need them alive, we need you against Barau FC, together we can make the ground unstoppable.” Ayiba stated ahead of the weekend fixture.
Bayelsa United defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 away in their first game of the season last weekend.
Malik Kehinde scored the winning goal for the Prosperity Boys.
