Niger Tornadoes have praised midfielder Ani Chigozie for his outstanding performance since the start of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Chigozie, who was signed as a replacement for Ifeanyi Okechukwu, has featured in all the team’s matches and has seamlessly integrated into the squad.
Niger Tornadoes described the midfielder’s acquisition as a “masterstroke” and an “absolute coup” by the club’s scout.
“Ani Chigozie has proven to be a masterstroke for Niger Tornadoes. His acquisition was an absolute coup by the club’s scout,” Niger Tornadoes stated.
“The player seamlessly integrated into the team, showcasing his exceptional skills and character.”
Chigozie will lead the charge for Niger Tornadoes in their upcoming match against Kun Khalifat FC in Minna on Sunday (today).
