Plateau United technical adviser, Oluwasola Adegun has expressed optimism in his teams ability to improve on their poor start to the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL , season.
The Peace Boys have recorded two wins and five defeats in seven matches this season.
Plateau United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Shooting Stars in their last NPFL match in Ibadan.
Adegun assured that his team will build on the positives in the game.
“In our previous game against Kwara United we had a good performance likewise against Shooting Stars too despite the defeat, we will build on the positives from the game and avoid those mistakes that allow us to concede at the end of the game,” Adegun stated.
“We are improving consistently, very soon we will be at that place where we will be getting results away from home.”
Plateau United will do battle with Barau FC in their next game in Jos on Sunday.
