The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has announced a new kickoff date, venue, and fixtures for the 2025 Nationwide League.
The Nationwide League serves as a platform for emerging clubs seeking to advance through the league structure.
The promotion playoff is scheduled to run from Friday, October 10, to Friday, October 17, at the Bwari Township Stadium in Abuja.
The NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, confirmed that the competition will feature ten teams divided into two groups of five.
“The Nationwide competition remains a vital platform for clubs across the country to showcase their potential and progress through the league system,” Shabi said in a statement on Wednesday.
“At the end of the tournament, the two best teams from each group will be promoted to the NWFL Championship.”
