The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced venues and dates for the 2025 Women’s Championship.
The women’s second-tier league, which is called the Championship, will be held in Abia State from September 11 to 21, 2025.
The NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, confirmed this in a press release on Monday.
Shabi said that a total of 17 clubs have registered for this year’s edition and will be drawn into four groups ahead of the kick-off.
The competition will serve as the pathway for clubs seeking promotion to the NWFL.
Four promotion tickets are available for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
