Chelsea is working on a deal to sign Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have opened negotiations with Brighton for the Argentine’s signature.
Buonanotte is also in the list of several clubs in the United Kingdom, UK, and also German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
Meanwhile, in another development, England international Kobbie Mainoo has told Manchester United he wants to leave the club and join Napoli on a permanent transfer, according to Mirror Football.
Mainoo has not played for Man United in the Premier League so far this season.
The young midfielder was an unused substitute in their Premier League encounters against Arsenal and Fulham, respectively.
He is down the pecking order of Man United manager Ruben Amorim’s choice of midfielders at Old Trafford.
