Chelsea on transfer deadline day (Monday) confirmed transfer deals for two players, Facundo Buonanotte and Alex Matos.
In a separate statement, the Premier League west London club confirmed that Buonanotte has joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Brighton.
The statement also disclosed that Matos has joined Sheffield United from Chelsea on a permanent transfer.
Mato joined the Premier League west London club in 2023.
The midfielder also made his first-team debut as a late substitute against Fulham the following October.
He played regularly for Chelsea’s Under-21s during the first half of last season, before joining Oxford United on loan in January.
