Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze is not in the squad to face Fredrikstad in a Europa Conference League play-off on Thursday night.
Manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Eze will miss the game, as his transfer to Arsenal nears completion.
The Gunners are set to hijack the 27-year-old’s proposed move to rivals Tottenham.
They have matched their £60 million initial offer with £7.5 million in add-ons.
Arsenal are looking to finalise the Eze deal in time for him to at least be in their matchday squad to face Leeds on Saturday.
Eze came through Hale Academy but was released as a 13-year-old.
