Manchester United are reportedly “seriously considering” a summer transfer move for VfB Stuttgart midfielder Atakan Stiller.
According to Fichajes, Stiller has emerged as an option to strengthen United head coach Ruben Amorim’s midfield this season.
The report added that the 23-year-old is not viewed as a direct replacement for the Red Devils’ primary target, Carlos Baleba.
Stiller is said to have a £32 million release clause in his Stuttgart contract.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Newcastle United have secured the signing of Nick Woltemade after their official bid for the Stuttgart forward was accepted.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a fee of over €80 million plus add-ons has been agreed, with the player now set to undergo a medical in England within the next 24 hours.
Woltemade has already said “yes” to the move to Newcastle after agreeing a long-term deal with the Premier League club.
