Newcastle legend, Alan Shearer has advised striker, Alexander Isak to sack his agent immediately for the ‘mess’ he has made of this summer’s ongoing transfer saga.
Isak and his agent want to cut ties with Newcastle and strike as the player wants to join Liverpool this summer transfer window.
Unfortunately, the situation of both parties have quickly turned sour after the Magpies rejected the Reds’ first bid of £110m for the Sweden international.
As a result, Isak took a shot at Newcastle, accusing the Premier League club of ‘breaking promises’ and also betraying his trust.
Reacting, Newcastle released a statement, rubbishing Isak’s claims.
Speaking on the development, Shearer told Betfair: “I mean, oh my God, what a f***ing mess his agent has made of this, honestly.
“If I was him, I would get his agent in a room and sack him on the spot immediately because he is meant to be giving him the advice to sign that six‑year deal and there is no get‑out clause. I mean, it is ridiculous.”
