**“Eze Ndígbo” Is Not a King in Ghana

Speaking candidly, the Eze explained that the title “Eze Ndígbo” does not make him a king in Ghana. Instead, it is a cultural leadership role designed to unite Igbos in the diaspora and preserve their traditions.

> “Our Ghanaian hosts understand this very well, and that is why we are living peacefully here,” he said.

He revealed that the office of Eze Ndígbo has existed in Ghana for over 30 years, and he is not the first to hold it. According to him, his only “crime” was winning the election in 2013, a result that some people have opposed ever since, fueling false narratives online.
