UCL: Osimhen names world’s biggest team

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has named the Turkish Super Lig champions as the world’s biggest team.

Osimhen spoke after leading Galatasaray to beat Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Nigerian international scored the only goal of the encounter via penalty in the first half to give the hosts a 1-0 victory against the Reds.

Speaking at his post-match interview after the game at RAMS Park, Osimhen said Galatasaray is the biggest team in the world.

“Congratulations to the team, it was a very tough opponent. Many people didn’t believe we would win, except for the people you see here,” Osimhen said.

“I stayed away from the team, but for me, this is the biggest team in the world! It was a big win for Galatasaray and for me.”

Meanwhile, Osimhen made history after scoring a goal against Liverpool.
