UCL Playoffs: Dessers fit for Rangers vs Club Brugge

Nigeria forward, Cyriel Dessers has been declared fit for Rangers’ UEFA Champions League playoffs second leg tie against Club Brugge.

Dessers has missed the Light Blues last three games across all competitions due to a ankle injury.

The 30-year-old is now available for selection again, according to Rangers head coach, Russell Martin.

“Dessers is here and good to go back in the squad,” Martin told a press conference.

The Gers lost the first leg 3-1, and must at least score three goals without conceding to guarantee a place in the lucrative group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Dessers was also named in Nigeria’s 31-man provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa last week.
