Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson has heaped praise on Victor Osimhen after the Galatasaray striker led his team to beat Liverpool 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Robson described the Nigerian international as a top-class player and a constant threat against Liverpool.
Osimhen scored the only goal as Galatasaray defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
“There are lots of big clubs that should’ve taken him but did not take the chance,” Robson said of Osimhen on ESPN FC.
“But what he showed tonight was a great awareness of where the space was.
“He kept pulling out down the side of Van Dijk into the space. He was good with his back to the goal and a constant threat.
“Yes, he scored a penalty, but he is a top-class player. He has got energy, pace, and he is not bad in the air.”
Osimhen will now hope to lead Galatasaray to victory when they face Besiktas in their next game on Saturday.
